Increase pedestrian safety at unsignalized crosswalks, such as mid-block and trail crossings, roundabouts and more with the SC315-G rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB). An effective warning system, the SC315-G is actuated by crossing pedestrians and alerts drivers with quick, ultra-bright flashing signals (wig-wag + simultaneous or WW+S) that are highly visible in all roadway conditions. This cabinet-based system supports either solar or AC power and can be outfitted with a variety of safety enhancements and/or third-party devices, including overhead nighttime street lighting, up to four light bars, passive pedestrian detection with sensors, remote connectivity and more. The SC315-G is an ideal solution for busy crosswalks, particularly shaded areas, high northern latitudes or any project with demanding power needs.RRFBs are proven to reduce pedestrian crashes by 47% (0.53 crash modification factor, or CMF) and increase driver yield rates between 73-96%.
